Our product designers looked for a way to coordinate a whiteboard or chalk board with any other interior objects by means of colour. Within the Chameleon range, there was already the option to print a whiteboard surface. However, we noticed a wish particularly from interior architects to find a subtler solution.
A coloured edge gives the board a subtle distinguishing feature, without compromising on the functionality of the writing surface. Particularly against a white wall, the edge colour provides a nice contrast between the white board and the wall. The choice of colour can reflect a house style colour, for example, or one of the more dominant interior colours.
Chameleon frameless whiteboards are painted by hand. This is precision work (during which the board is also manually inspected for any imperfections). As standard, our employees paint whiteboards as follows:
For big projects, we offer the possibility to choose any RAL colour at no extra cost. Colours from the RAL DESIGN SYSTEM can also be chosen. If the colour code is known when the order is confirmed, there will be no delay in delivery. For small projects, an edge colour is not usually an option, but may be discussed.
